Concealed Electric Through-Wire and Monitor Hinges
Concealed electric through-wire hinges are a means to transfer electrical power from the power source, through the frame, and into the door and finally to the electrified door hardware.

IVES through-wire hinges provide an aesthetically pleasing power transfer solution without significant door and frame preparation for new construction and retrofit work. Monitor hinges utilize an internal switch to send a signal when the door is opened. Monitor hinges may also be ordered with through-wires to monitor an opening while providing power to electrified locking hardware.
